NATIONAL SPORTS DAY
The organizing school and the sports competitions follow a specific set of rules as follows: - Every school that undertakes the responsibility of conducting a tournament on behalf of the CBSE is responsible for its organisation, supervision and conduct in every detail.
- For this purpose, the Principal of the Host School nominates a competent body to be known as ‘Organizing Committee’. It is the responsibility of the Organizing School to provide lodging facilities to all the participating teams.
- For this purpose, hostels/classrooms and other suitable and safe facilities having adequate and clean bathing rooms and toilets are utilised. The host school provides mattress & sheets for teams staying with it.
- It also takes care of the food and water needed. The schools conducting the competitions cannot prepone/ postpone the tournaments.
- The schools hosting National level competitions are permitted to participate directly at that level in that particular discipline and hence need not participate at the lower level of competition.
